Sibling relationships play a significant role in human interaction, forming the foundation of social engagement. As the first people we encounter in our families, siblings exert considerable influence on each other's lives, forging strong bonds and yielding substantial sway.

My sister and I are closer than anyone, but when I think back to our childhood, we unknowingly had a sense of competition. I sometimes found myself emulating what my sister excelled at, and the desire to receive praise, just like she did, led me to make an effort. Why did I, while loving and trusting my sister more than anyone, also feel a sense of rivalry, striving for more love? Why did I sometimes perceive my sister, who is perhaps the closest person in the world, as if she were a complete stranger? These inexplicable emotions mixed with this ambiguous relationship piqued my interest, and I aimed to incorporate this complexity into my artwork.
